October 8, 2025: Laurel, MD 20707 The Laurel Spartans (Laurel, MD) soccer overwhelmed the visiting College Park Academy (Riverdale, MD), 8-0 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
The Spartans now hold a 2-0 record. They play next when they host DuVal for a Prince George's County 4A challenge on Monday, October 13.
With the loss, College Park Academy moves to 1-5 on the year. The travel to Douglass (Upper Marlboro, MD) to face the Eagles in a non-league contest on Thursday, October 9. The Eagles enter the contest with a record of 2-1. Douglass lost 9-0 in their recent league contest against Oxon Hill (Oxon Hill, MD)
