With the loss, Bolton Central moves to 5-7 on the year. The Eagles host Johnsburg Central (North Creek, NY) to play the Jaguars in a non-league bout on Friday, October 10. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Johnsburg Central won 3-2 in their recent league bout against Keene Central (Keene Valley, NY)
Match Summary
BW lost its final regular season match in gritty match with Argyle tonight. Argyle and BW traded numerous chances in the first half. Will Hens for BW and Landon Buck for Argyle were both wreaking havoc for the opposing defenses. However, it was BW that finally had a defensive breakdown midway through the first half, and Nolan Siskavich capitalized on it to put Argyle ahead to stay. BW would come out strong in the second half and virtually control the play for 40 minutes but could not find the equalizer. Maris Martin, BW's goalie, would make a terrific save on a shot from Landon Buck to keep the game close in the second half. BW's senior group of Hens, Andy Morehouse, Jacob French, and Colton Stannard all played exceptionally well.
