Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Fall Mountain Wildcats (Langdon, NH) and the visiting Merrimack Valley The Pride (Penacook, NH), observed Fall Mountain's volleyball team top Merrimack Valley by a count of 3-1.

The Wildcats (6-8) will now prepare for their contest against Laconia (Laconia, NH). The Sachems go into the Division II battle with a 5-6 record.

The The Pride now own a 1-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host ConVal for a non-league battle on Friday, October 10. Merrimack Valley will battle a Cougars team coming off a 3-0 league win over Stark (Weare, NH). The Cougars record now stands at 6-4.
