North Carolina High School Volleyball - Lake Norman over Hough

October 8, 2025: Mooresville, NC 28117

In Wednesday's non-league test, the host Lake Norman Wildcats volleyball squad scored a 3-1 win over the Hough Huskies.

With the win, Lake Norman advances its record to 5-15 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Davie County (Mocksville, NC) to face the War Eagles in a North Piedmont 6A/7A test on Thursday, October 9. The War Eagles go into the test with a record of 9-9. Davie County lost 3-1 in their recent league challenge against Mooresville (Mooresville, NC)

Next, the Huskies play the Hopewell Titans (Huntersville, NC) in a Greater Charlotte 7A/8A test, on Thursday, October 9. Hough will attempt to upgrade on its 12-13 season record. The Titans come into the outing with a 5-16 record after their 3-0 league win over West Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC).
