North Carolina High School Soccer - East Rutherford knocks off Chase
October 9, 2023: Forest City, NC 28043 East Rutherford Cavaliers (Forest City, NC) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Chase Trojans (Forest City, NC), 7-2 in a league challenge.
Next, the Cavaliers face the Patton Panthers (Morganton, NC) in a Mountain Foothills Seven 2A challenge, on Wednesday, October 11. East Rutherford will attempt to better on its 3-9 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 14-1 record after their 3-1 league win over Polk County (Columbus, NC).
The Trojans now have a 0-13 record. They take the field next when they host Hendersonville for a Mountain Foothills Seven 2A challenge on Wednesday, October 11. Chase will face a Bearcats team coming off a 3-1 league win over Polk County (Columbus, NC). The Bearcats record now stands at 10-4.
