Connecticut High School Soccer - Coventry knocks off Coginchaug Regional
October 9, 2023: Durham, CT 06422 Coventry Patriots (Coventry, CT) fans were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Coginchaug Regional Blue Devils (Durham, CT), 5-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Patriots confront the East Granby Crusaders (East Granby, CT) in a Central Connecticut - North challenge, on Wednesday, October 11. Coventry will attempt to better on its 6-2 season record. The Crusaders enter the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 1-1 league Windsor Locks (Windsor Locks, CT).
The Blue Devils now have a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they host Old Lyme for a Shoreline challenge on Friday, October 13. Coginchaug Regional will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Guilford (Guilford, CT). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-8.
