September 9, 2023: Higganum, CT 06441 The Haddam-Killingworth Cougars smashed the visiting Coginchaug Regional Blue Devils soccer squad by a margin of 5-1 in Saturday's league match.
The Cougars now sport a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Portland for a Shoreline match on Tuesday, September 12. Haddam-Killingworth will encounter a Highlanders squad coming off a 0-0 league Old Saybrook (Old Saybrook, CT). The Highlanders record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Coginchaug Regional drops to 0-1 on the season. The Blue devils travel to Morgan (Clinton, CT) to encounter the Huskies in a Shoreline match on Tuesday, September 12.
