Pennsylvania High School Soccer - DuBois knocks off Punxsutawney
October 9, 2023: Punxsutawney, PA 15767 DuBois Beavers (DuBois, PA) supporters were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Punxsutawney Chucks (Punxsutawney, PA), 6-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Beavers confront the Karns City Gremlins (Karns City, PA) in a UAVSL Boys Central challenge, on Tuesday, October 10. DuBois will attempt to move on its 13-2 season record. The Gremlins enter the challenge with a 9-4 record after their 5-0 non-league win over Brockway (Brockway, PA).
The Chucks now possess a 0-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Marys for a UAVSL Boys Central challenge on Wednesday, October 11. Punxsutawney will confront a Flying Dutch team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Brookville (Brookville, PA). The Flying Dutch record now stands at 10-5.
