With the victory, Fike moves its record to 9-6 on the year. The Demons travel to Smithfield-Selma (Smithfield, NC) to confront the Spartans in a Quad County 3A bout on Wednesday, October 11. The Spartans enter the bout with a record of 9-6. Smithfield-Selma won 8-2 in their recent league bout against Hunt (Wilson, NC)
In their next game, the Trojans confront the C.B. Aycock Golden Falcons (Pikeville, NC) in a Quad County 3A bout, on Thursday, October 12. South Johnston will attempt to move on its 2-11 season record. The Golden Falcons enter the bout with a 15-2 record after their 2-0 league win over East Wake (Wendell, NC).
