Virginia High School Volleyball - Floyd County overwhelmed by Blacksburg
October 9, 2023: Blacksburg, VA 24060 In Monday's non-league battle, the host Blacksburg Bruins volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Floyd County Buffaloes.
The Bruins (14-3) will now prepare for their battle against Cave Spring (Roanoke, VA). The Knights come into the River Ridge battle with a 10-7 record. In their last battle, Cave Spring lost by Christiansburg (Christiansburg, VA), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Buffaloes encounter the Carroll County Cavaliers (Hillsville, VA) in a Three Rivers battle, on Tuesday, October 10. Floyd County will attempt to advance on its 2-14 season record. The Cavaliers come into the battle with a 9-6 record after their 3-2 league loss to James River (Buchanan, VA).
