North Carolina High School Soccer - Wayne Country Day knocks off Epiphany
October 9, 2024: New Bern, NC 28562 In Wednesday's league outing, the visiting Wayne Country Day Chargers soccer squad scored a tight 4-0 victory over the Epiphany Falcons.
The Chargers (8-9) will now prepare for their outing against Greenfield (Wilson, NC). The Knights go into the NCISAA Coastal Plain outing with a 11-7 record. In their last outing, Greenfield by Cape Fear Academy (Wilmington, NC), 3-1, in a league outing.
Next up, the Falcons play the Arendell Parrott Academy Patriots (Kinston, NC) in a NCISAA Coastal Plain outing, on Thursday, October 10. Epiphany will attempt to improve on its 1-16 season record. The Patriots go into the outing with a 3-9 record after their 6-0 league loss to John Paul II Catholic (Greenville, NC).
