Michigan High School Volleyball - Anchor Bay tips Grosse Pointe South

October 9, 2024: Fair Haven, MI 48023

The Anchor Bay Tars (Fair Haven, MI) volleyball held off the visiting Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils (Grosse Pointe, MI), 3-2 in Wednesday's league bout.

The Tars now possess a 9-6 record. They play next when they travel to St. Mary's Prep for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 12. Anchor Bay will clash with a Eaglets team coming off a 3-1 league win over Regina (Warren, MI). The Eaglets record now stands at 18-12.

With the loss, Grosse Pointe South drops to 12-10 on the campaign. The Blue devils host L'Anse Creuse North (Macomb, MI) to clash with the Crusaders in a Macomb Area - Red bout on Tuesday, October 15. The Crusaders come into the bout with a record of 16-10. L'Anse Creuse North won 3-1 in their recent league bout against Dakota (Macomb, MI)
