October 9, 2024: Lafayette, LA 70507 Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Lake Charles College Prep Trailblazers (Lake Charles, LA) and the host Carencro Bears (Lafayette, LA), observed Lake Charles College Prep's volleyball team hold off Carencro by a tally of 3-2.
The Trailblazers (4-9) will now prepare for their contest against St. Martinville (St. Martinville, LA). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 12-10 record. In their last contest, St. Martinville got by Terrebonne (Houma, LA), 3-1, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Bears meet the New Iberia Yellowjackets (New Iberia, LA) in a Division I District 3 contest, on Thursday, October 10. Carencro will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the contest with a 7-15 record after their 3-0 league loss to Southside (Youngsville, LA).
