Maryland High School Volleyball - Fairmont Heights tips Largo
October 9, 2024: Upper Marlboro, MD 20774 In Wednesday's league challenge, the visiting Fairmont Heights Hornets volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Largo Lions.
The Hornets (4-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South (Upper Marlboro, MD). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South edged College Park Academy (Riverdale, MD), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Lions meet the Surrattsville Hornets (Clinton, MD) in a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A challenge, on Monday, October 14. Largo will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 3-0 league loss to Potomac (Oxon Hill, MD).
