North Carolina High School Volleyball - West Caldwell overwhelmed by Maiden
October 9, 2024: Lenoir, NC 28645 Maiden Blue Devils (Maiden, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host West Caldwell Warriors (Lenoir, NC), 3-0 in a league test.
With the win, Maiden improves its record to 16-5 on the season. The Blue Devils travel to Newton-Conover (Newton, NC) to face the Red Devils in a Catawba Valley Athletic 2A test on Thursday, October 10. The Red Devils go into the test with a record of 13-3. Newton-Conover won 3-0 in their recent league test against East Burke (Connelly Springs, NC)
The Warriors now own a 1-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Burke for a Catawba Valley Athletic 2A test on Thursday, October 10. West Caldwell will face a Cavaliers squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 10-8.
