October 9, 2025: Forest City, NC 28043 The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the East Rutherford Cavaliers (Bostic, NC) and the host Chase Trojans (Forest City, NC), witnessed East Rutherford's football squad wallop Chase by a tally of 54-22.
The Cavaliers (3-1) will now prepare for their bout against West Caldwell (Lenoir, NC). The Warriors go into the bout with a 0-5 record. In their last bout, West Caldwell was crushed by East Burke (Connelly Springs, NC), 36-0, in a non-league battle.
The Trojans now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to East Burke for a non-league battle on Thursday, October 16. Chase will play a Cavaliers team coming off a 14-12 non-league win over R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 3-4.
