In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Wapsie Valley Warriors volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Aplington-Parkersburg Falcons.

The Warriors (21-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Grundy Center (Grundy Center, IA). The Spartans come into the non-league challenge with a 25-4 record.

In their next game, the Falcons face the South Hardin Tigers (Eldora, IA) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, October 14. Aplington-Parkersburg will attempt to advance on its 18-8 season record.
