Grand Island Central Catholic Crusaders (Grand Island, NE) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Aquinas Monarchs (David City, NE), 2-1 in a league test.

With the win, Grand Island Central Catholic advances its record to 13-10 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to St. Cecilia (Hastings, NE) to play the Bluehawks in a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 9. The Bluehawks come into the challenge with a record of 17-7. St. Cecilia won 3-1 in their recent league challenge against Centura (Cairo, NE)
