The Big Walnut Golden Eagles topped the visiting Westland Cougars volleyball team by a margin of 3-0 in Thursday's league outing.

The Golden Eagles now possess a 16-5 record. They play next when they travel to Bloom-Carroll for a non-league outing on Saturday, October 11. Big Walnut will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 league win over Hamilton Township (Columbus, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 20-1.

With the defeat, Westland moves to 5-15 on the season. The Cougars host Walnut Ridge (Columbus, OH) to confront the Scots in a non-league game on Monday, October 13. The Scots go into the game with a record of 11-3.
