California High School Volleyball - Desert can't hold off Boron

October 9, 2025: Boron, CA 93516

In Thursday's league match, the Boron Bobcats (Boron, CA) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Desert Scorpions (Edwards AFB, CA), by a final score of 3-2.

Next up, the Bobcats confront the Kern Valley Broncs (Lake Isabella, CA) in a High Desert match, on Tuesday, October 14. Boron will attempt to advance on its 11-14 season record. The Broncs enter the match with a 7-12 record after their 3-0 league loss to Mammoth (Mammoth Lakes, CA).

The Scorpions (4-12) will now prepare for their match against California City (California City, CA). The Ravens come into the High Desert bout with a 14-15 record. In their last bout, California City was nudged by Rosamond (Rosamond, CA), 3-0, in a league bout.
