In Thursday's league match, the Carlsbad Lancers (Carlsbad, CA) volleyball squad tipped the visiting San Marcos Knights (San Marcos, CA), by a count of 3-2.

Coming up next, the Lancers clash with the Torrey Pines Falcons (San Diego, CA) in a Coastal (NCC) bout, on Wednesday, October 15. Carlsbad will attempt to move on its 18-7 season record. The Falcons enter the match with a 22-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Westview (San Diego, CA).
