In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Graham Red Devils volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Cummings Cavaliers.

The Red Devils (2-16) will now prepare for their challenge against Southeast Alamance (Haw River, NC). The Stallions come into the Mid-Carolina 4A/5A/6A challenge with a 14-7 record. In their last challenge, Southeast Alamance beat Eastern Alamance (Mebane, NC), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next up, the Cavaliers face the Person Rockets (Roxboro, NC) in a non-league game, on Monday, October 13. Cummings will attempt to advance on its 0-15 season record. The Rockets go into the game with a 19-3 record after their 3-0 league win over Williams (Burlington, NC).
