In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Port of Los Angeles Polar Bears volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the GALA Goddesses.

The Polar Bears (19-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Taft (Woodland Hills, CA). The Toreadors enter the non-league challenge with a 26-11 record. In their last challenge, Taft beat Chatsworth (Chatsworth, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Goddesses meet the Northridge Academy Pumas (Northridge, CA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, October 11. GALA will attempt to improve on its 8-14 season record. The Pumas go into the test with a 6-10 record after their 3-0 league loss to Vaughn (San Fernando, CA).
