The South Mecklenburg Sabres volleyball squad (Charlotte, NC), was defeated 3-0 in Thursday's league battle with the host Myers Park Mustangs (Charlotte, NC)

With the win, Myers Park improves its record to 13-7 on the season.

The Sabres now own a 11-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Mecklenburg for a non-league challenge on Monday, October 13. South Mecklenburg will meet a Hawks team coming off a 3-0 league win over Garinger (Charlotte, NC). The Hawks record now stands at 4-18.
