In Thursday's league match, the West Central Trojans (Francesville, IN) volleyball team knocked off the host North Newton Spartans (Morocco, IN), by a margin of 3-0.

The Trojans now possess a 12-12 record. They play next when they travel to South Newton for a non-league bout on Thursday, October 16. West Central will clash with a Rebels team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Twin Lakes (Monticello, IN). The Rebels record now stands at 17-10.
