Maryland High School Football - Bladensburg thwarted by Laurel
November 1, 2024: Laurel, MD 20707 Laurel Spartans (Laurel, MD) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Bladensburg Mustangs (Bladensburg, MD), 34-8 in a league battle.
With the win, Laurel upgrades its record to 3-5 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Walter Johnson (Bethesda, MD) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league match on Friday, November 8. The Wildcats come into the match with a record of 4-5. Walter Johnson lost 21-13 in their recent non-league match against Churchill (Potomac, MD)
Coming up next, the Mustangs meet the Eleanor Roosevelt Raiders (Greenbelt, MD) in a Prince George's County 4A/3A match, on Wednesday, January 1.
