The Crest Chargers football team (Shelby, NC), was tipped 24-23 in Friday's league bout with the visiting Kings Mountain Mountaineers (Kings Mountain, NC)

With the win, Kings Mountain advances its record to 7-2 on the season. The Mountaineers travel to North Gaston (Dallas, NC) to encounter the Wildcats in a Big South 3A bout on Friday, November 8. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 3-6. North Gaston lost 48-0 in their recent league bout against South Point (Belmont, NC)
