West Virginia High School Football - East Fairmont defeats Lewis County
November 1, 2024: Fairmont, WV 26554 The crowd at Friday's league contest between the East Fairmont Bees (Fairmont, WV) and the visiting Lewis County Minutemen (Weston, WV), witnessed East Fairmont's football squad topple Lewis County by a count of 42-21.
The Bees now sport a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fairmont Senior for a Big Ten outing on Friday, November 8. East Fairmont will clash with a Polar Bears squad coming off a 56-28 league loss to Bridgeport (Bridgeport, WV). The Polar Bears record now stands at 8-1.
With the defeat, Lewis County drops to 4-5 on the campaign. The Minutemen host Grafton (Grafton, WV) to clash with the Bearcats in a Big Ten outing on Friday, November 8. The Bearcats come into the outing with a record of 3-6. Grafton lost 48-6 in their recent non-league outing against Frankfort (Ridgeley, WV)
