Texas High School Basketball - Coronado overwhelms Midland
November 4, 2022: Lubbock, TX 79410 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Coronado Mustangs (Lubbock, TX) and the visiting Midland Bulldogs (Midland, TX), saw Coronado's basketball squad wallop Midland by a tally of 74-17.
With the victory, Coronado improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Amarillo (Amarillo, TX) to confront the Sandies in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, November 8. The Sandies come into the challenge with a record of 2-0. Amarillo won 47-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Liberty (Frisco, TX)
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Lamesa Tornadoes (Lamesa, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 8. Midland will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Tornadoes come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 39-27 non-league win over Sweetwater (Sweetwater, TX).
