November 6, 2025: Valdosta, GA 31601 The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Lowndes Vikings (Valdosta, GA) and the visiting Echols County Wildcats (Statenville, GA), observed Lowndes's basketball team overwhelm Echols County by a score of 50-10.
The Vikings (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Westover (Albany, GA). The Patriots come into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Westover smashed Monroe (Albany, GA), 60-53, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Crisp Academy Wildcats (Cordele, GA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, November 11. Echols County will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
