Georgia High School Basketball - Brooks County overwhelmed by Lowndes

December 12, 2025: Valdosta, GA 31601

The Lowndes Vikings bounced the visiting Brooks County Trojans basketball team by a tally of 80-26 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Vikings now possess a 5-4 record. They play next when they host Bradwell Institute for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 13. Lowndes will play a Tigers team coming off a 66-56 non-league loss to Calvary Day (Savannah, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 7-1.

With the loss, Brooks County falls to 4-2 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Madison County (Madison, FL) to play the Cowboys in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 13. The Cowboys go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Madison County lost 72-43 in their recent non-league bout against Munroe (Quincy, FL)
