The Falls Lake Firebirds tipped the visiting Triangle Math & Science Tigers basketball team by a final score of 42-36 in Tuesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Firebirds face the Oxford Prep Griffins (Oxford, NC) in a non-league game, on Thursday, November 9. Falls Lake will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Griffins enter the game with a 2-0 record after their 62-31 non-league win over River Mill (Graham, NC).

With the defeat, Triangle Math & Science moves to 0-1 on the year. The Tigers host Franklin Academy (Wake Forest, NC) to face the Patriots in a non-league game on Wednesday, November 8.
