North Carolina High School Basketball - Falls Lake thwarts Triangle Math & Science

The Falls Lake Firebirds (Creedmoor, NC) basketball knocked off the host Triangle Math & Science Tigers (Apex, NC), 50-34 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Firebirds (3-4) will now prepare for their test against Louisburg (Louisburg, NC). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Louisburg notched a victory over Northwest Halifax (Littleton, NC), 59-34, in a non-league test.

The Tigers now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Chatham Central for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, November 29. Triangle Math & Science will confront a Bears squad coming off a 73-58 non-league win over South Davidson (Denton, NC). The Bears record now stands at 2-0.
