The New Hope Trojans (Columbus, MS) basketball felled the host Kosciusko Whippets (Kosciusko, MS), 63-44 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Trojans (1-0) will now prepare for their test against North Panola (Sardis, MS). The Cougars go into the non-league test with a 0-0 record.

The Whippets now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Neshoba Central for a non-league test on Thursday, November 9. Kosciusko will encounter a Rockets squad coming off a 83-46 non-league win over Newton County (Decatur, MS). The Rockets record now stands at 1-0.
