December 16, 2023: Columbus, MS 39702 The New Hope Trojans tipped the host Columbus Falcons basketball team by a final score of 55-48 in Saturday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Trojans face the Pontotoc Warriors (Pontotoc, MS) in a 5A Region 1 game, on Tuesday, December 19. New Hope will attempt to move on its 11-0 season record. The Warriors enter the game with a 9-6 record after their 72-44 non-league win over Itawamba Agricultural (Fulton, MS).
