Massachusetts High School Football - New Bedford can't hold off Whitman-Hanson Regional
November 7, 2025: Whitman, MA 02382 The Whitman-Hanson Regional Panthers got by the visiting New Bedford Whalers football team by a score of 23-21 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Panthers play the Oliver Ames Tigers (North Easton, MA) in a non-league test, on Friday, November 14. Whitman-Hanson Regional will attempt to move on its 1-8 season record. The Tigers come into the test with a 1-8 record after their 41-13 non-league loss to Westwood (Westwood, MA).
With the defeat, New Bedford drops to 0-9 on the campaign. The Whalers travel to Durfee (Fall River, MA) to meet the Hilltoppers in a Big Three challenge on Thursday, November 27. The Hilltoppers go into the challenge with a record of 3-6.
