The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Saugus Centurions (Saugus, CA) and the visiting Schurr Spartans (Montebello, CA), witnessed Saugus's football team nip Schurr by a final score of 22-19.

With the win, Saugus advances its record to 9-2 on the season. The Centurions travel to Calabasas (Calabasas, CA) to encounter the Coyotes in a non-league bout on Friday, November 14. The Coyotes go into the bout with a record of 6-5. Calabasas won 31-24 in their recent non-league bout against El Segundo (El Segundo, CA)

The Spartans now own a 7-4 record.
