The Spruce Mountain Phoenix tipped the visiting Mt. Ararat Eagles football squad by a margin of 20-14 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Phoenix now sport a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Camden Hills for a non-league test on Saturday, November 15. Spruce Mountain will clash with a Windjammers squad coming off a 35-0 non-league win over Mount Desert Island (Mount Desert, ME). The Windjammers record now stands at 10-1.

With the loss, Mt. Ararat falls to 8-2 on the year.
