The Lowell Red Devils basketball team scored 80 points and held the visiting Hammond Morton Governors to 74 in the Red Devils non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Red Devils now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Chicago Central for a non-league contest on Saturday, November 11. Lowell will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 56-34 non-league win over Griffith (Griffith, IN). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-0.

The Governors (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Calumet New Tech (Gary, IN). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Calumet New Tech was nudged by Calumet Christian (Griffith, IN), 29-16, in a non-league contest.
