Pisgah Dragons (Sandhill, MS) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting McLaurin Tigers (Florence, MS), 48-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Pisgah upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Dragons travel to Nanih Waiya (Louisville, MS) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 8. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Tigers play the Discovery Christian (Florence, MS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 4. McLaurin will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 59-16 non-league loss to Hillcrest Christian (Jackson, MS).
