Lamar Christian Lions (Purvis, MS) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Meridian HomeSchool FLYERS (Meridian, MS), 87-74 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Lamar Christian upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Copiah Academy (Gallman, MS) to confront the Colonels in a non-league contest on Thursday, November 6. The Colonels go into the contest with a record of 0-0.

In their next game, the FLYERS confront the Muddy River HomeSchool Counselors (Jackson, MS) in a Mississippi Home Educators contest, on Monday, November 3.
