The Ruston Bearcats volleyball team (Ruston, LA), was beaten 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Archbishop Chapelle Chipmunks (Metairie, LA)

The Chipmunks (25-15) will now prepare for their challenge against Ponchatoula (Ponchatoula, LA). The Green Wave enter the non-league challenge with a 19-15 record. In their last challenge, Ponchatoula was beaten by St. Scholastica (Covington, LA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bearcats meet the Barbe Buccaneers (Lake Charles, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, November 5. Ruston will attempt to upgrade on its 12-18 season record. The Buccaneers go into the test with a 26-11 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to E.D. White (Thibodaux, LA).
