In Thursday's league outing, the Gaston Christian Eagles (Gastonia, NC) basketball squad beat the host Victory Christian Center Kings (Charlotte, NC), by a count of 59-45.

The Eagles (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against Greensboro Day School (Greensboro, NC). The Bengals go into the non-league outing with a 2-1 record. In their last outing, Greensboro Day School was topped by Concord Academy (Concord, NC), 68-57, in a non-league outing.
