The Gaston Day Spartans basketball team scored 60 points and held the host Victory Christian Center Kings to 49 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Friday.

The Spartans now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Concord Academy for a NCISAA Metrolina contest on Tuesday, November 29. Gaston Day will meet a Eagles team coming off a 76-69 non-league win over Augusta Christian (Martinez, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 7-1.
