Mississippi High School Football - Briarfield Academy knocked off by Sharkey Issaquena Academy
November 10, 2023: Rolling Fork, MS 39159 Sharkey Issaquena Academy Confederates (Rolling Fork, MS) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Briarfield Academy Rebels (Lake Providence, LA), 16-8 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Sharkey Issaquena Academy improves its record to 11-1 on the campaign. The Confederates travel to Calhoun Academy (Calhoun City, MS) to battle the Cougars in a non-league test on Thursday, November 16. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 10-1. Calhoun Academy won 52-50 in their recent non-league test against Lee Academy (Marianna, AR)
With the loss, Briarfield Academy drops to 10-3 on the campaign.
