In Friday's non-league game, the Northwest Jaguars (Germantown, MD) football team held off the host Quince Orchard Cougars (Gaithersburg, MD), by a count of 29-26.

With the win, Northwest upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Churchill (Potomac, MD) to encounter the Bulldogs in a non-league outing on Friday, November 17. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a record of 10-1. Churchill won 41-14 in their recent non-league outing against Gaithersburg (Gaithersburg, MD)
