Texas High School Basketball - Cooper ripped by Godley
November 10, 2023: Godley, TX 76044 The Godley Wildcats basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Cooper Cougars to 33 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Friday.
The Wildcats now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mineral Wells for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 14. Godley will meet a Rams team coming off a 47-19 non-league loss to Grapevine Faith Christian (Grapevine, TX). The Rams record now stands at 1-1.
The Cougars (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Sands (Ackerly, TX). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Sands was routed by Greenwood (Midland, TX), 37-35, in a non-league contest.
