Texas High School Basketball - Cooper knocked off by Granbury
November 20, 2023: Granbury, TX 76048 The Granbury Pirates basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Cooper Cougars to 41 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Monday.
The Pirates now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Godley for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 21. Granbury will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 60-42 non-league win over China Spring (China Spring, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-2.
The Cougars (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Jim Ned (Tuscola, TX). The Indians enter the non-league contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Jim Ned was outscored by Glen Rose (Glen Rose, TX), 48-42, in a non-league contest.
