The Barbers Hill Eagles basketball team scored 72 points and held the host Friendswood Mustangs to 45 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cypress Creek for a non-league contest on Saturday, November 12.

The Mustangs (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Terry (Rosenberg, TX). The Rangers enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Terry was routed by Milby (Houston, TX), 58-55, in a non-league contest.
