November 11, 2023: Wylie, TX 75098 The Colony Cougars (The Colony, TX) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Wylie East Raiders (Wylie, TX), 70-60 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, The Colony upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Emerson (McKinney, TX) to play the Mavericks in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 14. The Mavericks come into the bout with a record of 1-0. Emerson won 75-49 in their recent non-league bout against Denison (Denison, TX)
Next up, the Raiders play the Grapevine Mustangs (Grapevine, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 14. Wylie East will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Mustangs come into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 59-45 non-league loss to Chisholm Trail (Fort Worth, TX).
